CCNA® (Cisco Certified Network Associate) certification is the first step for networkers and indicates a foundation in networking. It is a prerequisite for CCNP®, CCDP®, and CCSP™ certifications, and recommended for CCIP™ certification. Many Cisco Qualified Specialist focused certifications also require CCNA certification. Prerequisites: There are no prerequisites for CCNA certification.

Exams: There are two paths for CCNA certification: 640-801 CCNA or 640-821 INTRO and 640-811 ICND.
