| Family Background |
|
I belong to a respectable Araeen family. My father is the
proprietor of Al-Fatah Printers, Faisalabad. We are four brothers and one sister. I am
the third one. My eldest brother, Hafiz Abdul Wahid, is on job as a fabric designer in
Chenab Limited, Faisalabad. The second eldest brother, Abdul Khaliq, is running Grace
Gift Shop at Satiyana Road, Faisalabad. The youngest brother, Abdul Jabbar, has his own business of Rent-a-Bike.
My forefathers migrated to India in 712 AD with Muhammad
bin Qasim from Ariha (Jordan). When the Caliph Sulaiman bin Abdul Malik ordered Muhammad
bin Qasim to come back to Arab, they couldn't go back to their homeland due to the
oppressive behavior of the Caliph and decided to settle in Multan. After some decades
they moved to central & east Punjab. In early 20th century, they have been
living in Jullundur (India). When the Resolution of Pakistan passed in 1940 they decided
to migrate to Lyallpur (Faisalabad). When Pakistan got freedom they left Jullundur for
Lyallpur and were determined to dwell in Sidhar (a village 15KM west of the city on Jhang
road). Then after 25 years most of the family members shifted to the city.
In 1987 when Quaid-e-Inqilab Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri visited Faisalabad, we cordially joined
the caravan of the Inqilab. But there was a constant pricking question in our minds that
how the dream of Mustafavi Revolution would be materialized without political effort
in the society. On 25th January
1989 when the vital decision of the establishment of
PAT came in to being, we made a determined decision to sacrifice ourselves till the
last drop of our blood for this great Mustafavi Revolution.
For this purpose I got admission in The Minhaj
University in August 1989. This revolutionary decision changed the whole scenario of our
home. By the grace of Allah we have more than 150 video cassettes and a comprehensive treasure
of books & audio cassettes of Quaid-e-Inqilab in our personal library. We have been arranging a weekly video program
on every friday without fail since more than 7 years. We also provide video cassettes of the lectures of
Quaid-e-Inqilab to local cable network operators.

Turning Point in My Life |
|
In the beginning I was not more than a mediocre student. As I have got 3rd division in my matriculation examination I couldn't imagine getting 3rd position in the University. It was nothing but the grace and blessings of Almighty Allah & hard work of my teachers in the Minhaj University that a meager and meek student like me can achieve an unimaginable distinction. You can read an artical on my views about the Minhaj University published at webmaster.minhajians.org/article_miu.htm. |
